This is our second purchase of Vancouver Classics racks. The essential components of these products are unchanged. The racks are sturdy and lightweight, have wheels and stationary feet, and can easily be assembled without tools if you read the instructions. Two issues of note on our second order:
1. We purchased two racks, and one support pole on each rack had a production flaw - one side of the threaded end had a crimp (it was bent). It was small enough that I could straighten it out with a pair of pliers and thread the poles together, but barely. This lapse in quality was not evident the first time we ordered from the company.
2. The online payment process is one of the worst I have ever encountered. The website is set up so that PayPal is the only way to buy products, yet there is a picture on the webpage indicating credit cards are accepted. It was so frustrating that I had to call the company and ask how to pay online with a credit card. You have to follow the payment process, even though it says you are paying with PayPal, until the end when you enter your credit card number. And even then it looks as though your payment is being processed by PayPal to your credit card company. Very confusing. I have no doubt the company loses sales simply because some customers do not want to use PayPal and no one is looking at their own website from a customer's point of view.
It is still good, but not as good as it used to be, and the employees, while very polite and helpful, seem unfamiliar with what I consider standard expectations of a Canadian customer. I would want to avoid trying to initiate a return with this company. Overall still recommended.
